MEMBERSHIP TYPES
● The current membership year is from January 1st, 2025 to December 31st, 2025.
● All annual-type memberships will expire on December 31st, 2025, regardless of when the membership was approved.
● Membership Applications must be completed in their entirety unless otherwise specified. Inaccurate information, missing information, and/ or incorrect supporting documentation will delay processing and can result in a denied application.
● All Membership Applications are subject to review, verification, and final approval by the Membership Coordinator and Membership Committee.
● APPNA Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason.
● APPNA Membership will be suspended for a criminal conviction by a court of law or a disciplinary action by the Licensing Authority resulting in revocation of medical licensure.
Lifetime Membership (voting): $450
● Membership Eligibility: A graduate from a medical, osteopathic, or dental school in Pakistan or of Pakistani descent and a graduate from a medical, osteopathic, or dental school anywhere in the world. You must hold a current un-revoked medical license in North America OR be employed in Academics, Research, or Management in North America.
● Membership Requirements: A completed APPNA Membership Application with supporting documentation – a copy of your current unrevoked medical license in North America OR current written proof of employment in Academics, Research, or Management in North America.
● Association Benefits: Lifetime Member benefits include voting in the annual elections, serving on committees/ task forces of the Association, and eligibility to hold office in the Association. Lifetime Members can attend both national and international events held by the Association and participate in pre-registration. Lifetime Members are exempt from paying registration fees at meetings held in North America.
Annual Membership (voting-eligible): $45 Affiliate Membership (non-voting): $25 Associate Membership (non-voting): $25
● Membership Eligibility: A graduate from a medical, osteopathic, or dental school in Pakistan or of Pakistani descent and a graduate from a medical, osteopathic, or dental school anywhere in the world. You must hold a current un-revoked medical license in North America OR be employed in Academics, Research, or Management in North America.
● Membership Requirements: A completed APPNA Membership Application with supporting documentation – a copy of your current unrevoked medical license in North America OR current written proof of employment in Academics, Research, or Management in North America.
● Association Benefits: Annual Member benefits include voting eligibility in the annual elections, serving on committees/ task forces of the Association, and eligibility to hold office in the Association. Annual Members can attend both national and international events held by the Association and participate in pre-registration.
● Membership Eligibility: A physician of non-Pakistani descent residing in North America.
● Membership Requirements: A completed APPNA Membership Application with supporting documentation – a copy of your current unrevoked medical license in North America.
● Association Benefits: Affiliate Member benefits include serving on committees/ task forces of the Association, and participating in all activities. Affiliate Members can attend both national and international events held by the Association and participate in pre-registration.
● Membership Eligibility: A non-physician employed in human sciences or healthcare.
● Membership Requirements: A completed APPNA Membership Application with supporting documentation – written proof of employment in human sciences or healthcare from your employer.
● Association Benefits: Associate Members benefits include serving on committees/ task forces of the Association, and participating in all activities. Associate Members can attend both national and international events held by the Association and participate in pre-registration.
Physician-in-Training Voting Membership (voting-eligible): $35
● Membership Eligibility: A graduate of a medical, osteopathic, or dental school and currently participating in an approved training program in North America.
● Membership Requirements: A completed APPNA Membership Application with supporting documentation – a current signed contract letter.
● Association Benefits: Physician-in-Training Member benefits include voting eligibility in the annual elections and attendance at both national and international events held by the Association with participation in pre-registration.
Physician-in-Training (non-voting) Membership- Free
● Membership Eligibility: A graduate of a medical, osteopathic, or dental school and currently participating in an approved training program in North America.
● Membership Requirements: A completed APPNA Membership Application with supporting documentation – a current signed contract letter.
● Association Benefits: Physician-in-Training Member benefits include a dues-exempt membership and attendance at both national and international events held by the Association with participation in pre-registration.
Student Membership (non-voting)- Free
● Membership Eligibility: A current student of Pakistani descent enrolled in a medical or osteopathic college in North America or waiting for residency.
● Membership Requirements: A completed APPNA Membership Application with supporting documentation – a current enrollment letter from your medical or osteopathic college in North America or other country.
● Association Benefits: Student Member benefits include a dues-exempt membership and attendance at both national and international events held by the Association with participation in pre-registration.
