The story of APPNA New Jersey — our purpose, our history, and the community we exist to serve.

President, APPNA New Jersey Chapter — 2026

As we enter 2026, I am deeply honored to serve as President of the APPNA New Jersey Chapter — an organization that has been a cornerstone of our community for over two decades.

Since our founding in 2003, APPNA NJ has grown from a small gathering of Pakistani-American physicians into a powerful force for community upliftment, medical excellence, and charitable impact. Our free clinics have served thousands of patients who might otherwise have gone without care. Our scholarship programs have opened doors for the next generation of medical professionals. Our charitable initiatives have reached communities in need both here in New Jersey and across Pakistan.

But our work is more than medicine. It is about identity, belonging, and the enduring power of community. When we gather — whether at our annual gala, our medical symposia, or our community outreach events — we are not just colleagues. We are family.

This year, our priorities are clear: expand our free clinic network, deepen our mentorship pipeline for medical students, and strengthen our ties with the broader NJ healthcare community. We will also launch our new digital infrastructure to better serve our members and the communities we support.

To our members: thank you for your dedication, your generosity, and your unwavering commitment to service. To our community: we are here for you.

Together, we heal. Together, we serve. Together, we advance.
