The Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America New Jersey Chapter (APPNA-NJ) is a professional, non-political, equal-opportunity organization dedicated to:

  • Promoting excellence in healthcare, research, and education
  • Advocating for social justice and engaging in humanitarian activities
  • Facilitating the transfer of healthcare expertise and resources to communities in need
  • Supporting cultural and societal inclusivity
  • Serving as a resource for various volunteer and charitable projects
  • Mentoring the next generation of physicians

Established in 2003, APPNA-NJ has been instrumental in organizing charitable initiatives, such as free clinics and social welfare programs, both independently and in collaboration with other organizations. The chapter also focuses on assisting medical students and graduates from Pakistan in adjusting to the U.S. medical system through mentorship and support.

By fostering scientific development and education in medicine, APPNA-NJ aims to deliver better healthcare irrespective of race, color, creed, or gender, thereby improving the well-being of communities in New Jersey and beyond.
